課程概述 |
This class is the second half of Introduction to Social Work. Various fields of practice in Social Work will be discussed. Students will be required to do at least 6 hours of voluntary services in order to see how social workers perform in the fields. There will be a group project to train students' teamwork skills. Alumni will be invited to share their experiences with students. |

課程目標 |
1. Students will have basic understanding of various fields of practice.
2. Students will practice how to serve others by helping social service agencies.
3. Students will learn to work in a team and complete group assignments.
4. Students will be able to express ideas clearly and respect others' opinions.
5. Students will learn to analyze social issues with a critical perspective. |

小組書面報告（5000字左右）：讀書小組每組自由選定一個實務工作領域，提出報章雜誌近期內出現過的相關議題，進行下列三部分內容之報告：（1）議題說明與分析（2）相關資料文獻檢索（3）小組針對議題及資料綜合研讀之後之心得與看法。請注意必須是小組共同討論之後的綜合意見。並請依照APA期刊論文格式書寫參考書目。評分將以小組報告內容與格式得分為基準，參考個別組員自評與他評結果酌予加減。 |
